Top 10 players' WAGs

Cameras devour them, fans want to know more about them, the superstars rely on their support. Here’s a top 10 of tennis wives and girlfriends.
1. Mirka Federer. The former Miroslava Vavrinec is the superstar tennis wife: a former player, Roger’s one-time PR manager, mother of their twin two-year-old daughters and a fixture in the player box at every Grand Slam match her husband plays. Mirka and Roger became a couple at the Sydney Olympics and wed in Switzerland in April 2009.
2. Bec Hewitt. The Hewitts have been inseparable since the 2005 Australian Open, when Lleyton famously proposed to actress Bec Cartwright the night he lost the final to Marat Safin. Love-all off the court. They married in July 2005, divide their time between homes in Sydney and the Bahamas, and have three children: daughters Mia and Ava and son Cruz.
3. Brooklyn Decker. How many wives beat their sport-star husbands to the cover of Sports Illustrated? Andy Roddick won the 2003 US Open and reached No.1; his knockout wife sent the Maldives into meltdown to win the iconic swimsuit issue cover in 2010. They married in April 2009.
4. Jelena Ristic. The honey-complexioned Jelena has dated Novak Djokovic on-and-off for several years. Last season she made the move to full-time travelling companion. Did Novak’s tennis no harm.
5. Maria Francisca `Xisca’ Perello. Rafa Nadal’s long-time love is a dark-haired fellow-Majorcan and business graduate. Reserved and private, Xisca shuns the spotlight and is not a regular on the tennis tour, but usually makes the trip to Roland Garros and Wimbledon.
6. Kim Sears. If it’s worse watching than playing, spare a thought for Kim in the player box as her man Andy Murray labours to win his first major. The down-to-earth blonde won‘t mind at all the media focusing on Andy‘s new coach Ivan Lendl. A tennis insider, Kim is the daughter of leading coach Nigel Sears, who now works with Ana Ivanovic.
7. Donay Meijer. Bernard Tomic’s 21-year-old girlfriend made a smash debut on the WAG scene at AO2012, scoring the front page of at least one local newspaper. Cameras love the former model and pharmacy student, who met Bernard several months ago at home on the Gold Coast.
8. Biljana Sesevic. Janko Tipsarevic cracked the top 10 at the end of 2011. He already won a top-10 wife in Biljana, a former TV presenter in Belgrade. Guests at their wedding in July 2010 included the Serbian Davis Cup team.
9. Sara Foster. Tommy Haas’s better half is an actress/model whose credits include 90210 and Entourage. Sara has been a regular presence in the player box at RLA. The glamour couple has a one-year-old daughter, Valentina.
10. Nicole Vaidisova. Radek Stepanek (aka Steps) really stepped up in the love game, marrying glamorous Czech mate Nicole Vaidisova in Prague 18 months ago. The decade-younger Vaidisova is a former top-10 player (like her husband) and Australian Open semifinalist in 2007.
